Skellig had slept well enough, with Kreyu curled up tightly against him, her bodyweight resting solid on his chest and his hip - but it had not been the most solid sleep he had gotten since coming to her world on this journey.

Keeping a watchful eye on her overnight was a given, after her reaction during their previous conversation. And while his concern was moreso on her well-being and rest - he has a concern for the potential for nightmares - a small part of his mind also worries if what he told her about his abilities may have changed her opinion of him.

(Deep down, he knows it is unlikely, but his mind is hesitant to let it fall completely away.)

He told her he was not letting her go, as she held onto him to fall asleep. Now that he is awake, he has kept his mind quiet in an effort to avoid waking her - and he has kept his word. His hand rests lightly against her shoulder, fingertips lightly touching the feathers of her wing, occasionally stroking whenever her feels her stir in an effort to reassure her that she is safe, and he is not going anywhere.

The way the the friction causes their skin to stick and pull as she curls up atop him causes him to groan happily, but there is nothing further to it than just bliss - he is spent, physically, and utterly content to do nothing more in this moment than lie beneath her, soaking in the afterglow.

Relishing in the way their scent mixes in his senses.

His fingers (a faint tremble still persisting for a moment until his brain catches up a bit and convinces his muscles to stop sporadically misfiring) fall lightly to the back of her neck, tracing lazy circles along the edge of her hairline.

She notices the tremble in his fingers, heartbeat picking up in concern for a moment until the tremble fades.

Kreyu leans into his touch quite happily. "Might be fortuitous that we were not this vigorous last night. Who knows what we might have accomplished with the leyline and the sun god in you."

Skellig continues with his touch, but doesn't push it further.

"I think you may be right, about that," he muses quietly. "Last night was...very good." He lacks words to describe the way that the lines running through the world made him feel, how they wove through his soul for a brief flash. "But this night..."

He trails off, making a pleased sound as he stretches slightly beneath her. He is a very content, happy, pain-free creature at this moment, in this space. Even if he cannot find the words to describe it, he knows she can feel it in his energy.

She can feel it in his energy, and it makes her very glad.

She murmurs in agreement. "You quite surprised me with the second orgasm. I don't think one has snuck up on me like that since the very first time I had one." She's both pleased and amused by this turn of events.

If his wings had been free in that moment, Skellig's likely would have puffed with a display of pride and dominance at her comment.

"Bringing you to ecstasy is quite enjoyable for me..." As she is still sprawled atop him, his smug smirk - just a hint wicked - is all he can manage. The point is still easily made. "As you might have noticed."

His fingertips trail from her hairline to the curve of her neck, tracing over where he knows he left that mark on her skin.

"When you came undone under my touches...hearing you gasp like that..." A hard shiver runs down his body as that memory is one he will likely be replaying in his mind in the future. "I nearly lost control myself."

She laughs, the sound low. "I had noticed, yes, as bringing you to ecstasy is quite enjoyable for me."

"Did you do something to my neck?" she asks, curious. She can't SEE the mark, but he keeps touching there.

Kreyu looks and feels quite pleased when he says that he nearly lost control. "Petty of me, perhaps, but it pleases me that I can affect you so strongly.

Her expression turns wistful. "If only I had met your like when I was young, in that first handful of years when I was learning how to wear the mask of humanity -it would have saved me a great deal of frustration."

"With your ability to heal, I did not know if this would even last," he admits, allow his fingertip to pause over the mark on her skin. "It is a...love bite. I have also heard them called 'hickies', before."

Skellig ponders how to best explain the idea to her.

"It is a bruise, from sucking and working at your skin. Usually done more by the youth, with their lovers. Sometimes they are done where they can easily be hidden away...other times, they are done in areas where they are meant to be noticed."

"I can not heal quickly without the use of an item that that has become something of a magnet for karma. I can pull karma from such an item to heal my flesh, but only to a point.

"Ah, I see. A way of marking without pain." She moves to kiss him, soft. "I did ask you to claim me, after all, so it is a fitting thing."

"I had hoped it was without pain," he admits, a hint of relief in his voice. "It certainly seemed pleasurable, to you, so I was not all that worried..."

Skellig tilts his head curiously in response to the other part of her words.

"I know this form is only one that you can choose to take...but why would you have been frustrated, when in another?"

"I wore this shape then, except in the matter of my wings. To blend in better, I shifted this shape of my soul to be wingless, as it was when you first laid eyes on me."

She ponders how to explain. "I had never felt sexual desire before I first spent time in this shape. I WANTED, but I did not know what it was I wanted, or how to satisfy it. It was pure luck that a sailor the worse for drink pulled me in for a kiss which allowed me to make the connection to sex."

"I've told you how the first time I lay with a man ended, but it had not gone especially well before that point either." Her smile turns wry. "With the benefit of hindsight, I suspect he had never laid with a woman before, for all his boasting. It was brief, painful, and over with in a matter of minutes."

"The young men who came after....were not much better. I did not know how to please myself, so I was of little help in helping them please me."

Halfway through her telling him the story, the point she was originally trying to get across 'clicks' in his mind and he realizes what she was getting at - but he doesn't stop her from speaking. He simply listens, considering.

And nods.

"So...frustration."

Skellig exhales, shaking his head as he allows his mind to drift slightly. "I do not...I cannot recall my first. It is just not a part of my memories I have been able to recover. And for a long time my desires...were not sexual. I simply wished for other things."

He pauses a moment.

"But when I have sought companionship...desired sex...it has often been complicated, because of my wings. I have been forced to...conceal my true self, most times when I have laid with another."

A surge of Light wells up, warmth pooling in his chest when she says that, and he smiles fondly.

He adjusts their position, to better wrap one arm around her body, holding her against him in their sprawl. A piece of the puzzle, which he hadn't known he was missing. "Milliways has brought many friends into my life. I have not had to be alone for some time. And now...it also has brought me to you. For that I am so very grateful."

"As am I," She leans into his arm. Her eyelids are feeling so heavy. "Could fall asleep just like this."

"I would not stop you," he assures her, a hint of teasing humor in his tone. "Even if you chose to sprawl atop me once again, like before."

Which to be fair, she already is pretty close to doing so.

Kreyu flushes. "You should, if it is uncomfortable for you," she says, poking him gently.

"If I become uncomfortable, I will move. Or move you." It is a promise and a threat, all together in one. He yawns and stretches his body beneath hers, before closing his eyes and settling deeper into the pillows beneath him.

Sleep with not take long, after such an evening.
